Chief Executive Officer
Jane has been managing Principis since June of 2009. She came to Principis with over 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, investment and operations for growing companies, including MortgageIT, a top national mortgage bank and REIT that was acquired by Deutsche Bank in January 2007; DigitalConvergence, a media technology company; and the AIG Millennium Fund, a $300 million private equity investment fund focused on the emerging markets of Russia and Eastern Europe. Jane holds a B.A. from Boston University and a PhD from Harvard University. She has served on the board of the Women’s Bond Club of New York City and is active in several organizations that promote women in the financial sector.
Nick Del Deo
Vice President of Sales
Nick is responsible for all sales activities at Principis Capital. He joined the firm in May 2011 with more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in the financial services industry. His prior experience includes 6 years with Wachovia Bank as an executive in consumer lending, 10 years with First Union leading bankcard services and 8 years with Fidelity Union in corporate banking. Nick also was a small business owner for 6 years of a regional finance company. He holds a B.S. from Rutgers University in Business Management.
Vice President of Sales
Jerry is responsible for the entire sales process of bringing on new partners. This includes cultivating new relationships, helping new partners understand our value propositions, completing the vendor package, connecting new partners with our internal team, education on our products, aiding in the flow to help partners improve funding, and overseeing the relationship. He joined the firm in June of 2016 with 20 plus years of banking and merchant service experience. Prior to Principis he spent the last 5 years as a director of business development at both iPayment Inc, and USA Technologies. Jerry also owned a merchant services ISO for 8 years. He holds a B.S. from Saint Francis University in Business Management.
Vice President – Software Development
Richard has over two decades of experience primarily in the investment banking and hedge fund sectors as a hands-on technical leader. He studied classics at Cornell University before transitioning to technology. As a programmer at software pioneer Lotus Development Corporation, he supplemented his hands-on experience with computer science courses at MIT and Harvard. Richard has managed, designed and developed enterprise-level systems in such business areas as Front-Office Trading, Risk, Fund of Fund, IB, FID, Equity Research and Compliance. His professional experience includes VP Longevity Trading IT at Credit Suisse, Group Head Compliance Risk IT at Fortress Investment Group and at benchmark firm Platts led team in new energy risk Mark to Market – Commodities trading platform. In 2016, while consulting for global media agency MEC, he designed and implemented a responsive web application for client L’Oréal. It was ultimately selected as MEC’s Global Ideas North American Winner and one of 12 worldwide finalists. Richard is also an enthusiastic runner having completed over 100 NYRR races as well as over 25 marathons and ultra-marathons in the United States and Europe including Boston, New York City, Chicago, Paris, Berlin, Swiss Alpine and Iceland’s Laugavegur trail ultra-marathon.
Vice President – Asset Management
Fernando is responsible for Asset Management and collection efforts. He has over 30 years of credit and collections experience in banking, legal and commercial B2B industries. He has managed call centers in both USA and internationally servicing auto loans, credit loans, business loans, merchant cash advance and health care accounts. An expert in compliance including FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, GLB, HIPAA, FCPA, regulations E, Z, B and FACTA, AMIL, and CFPB regulations. Fernando most recently served as Director of Collections at Jaffe & Asher and before that was Director of Operations at Rickenbacker Group.
